I initially contacted Service Experts to install a new oven. Their response was quick, professional and accommodating. I received same day service, for which I am most grateful. I also had a number of electrical components replaced, including electrical panel, which previous panel proved to be faulty and unsafe. As did my outdated smoke alarms. Thank goodness many issues were uncovered and rectified! I now feel safe! Electrician was very thorough, friendly, helpful and tidy, taking care to cover and protect timber floors to avoid damage, and cleared away all rubbish when works completed. Be careful in engaging plumbers from this company. They charge $800 per hour and try to cash on your vulnerability. I have called this company after seeing a flyer about their services in my letter box. They quoted $495 for the job on phone to remove and replace with a new hydro tap unit. No additional plumbing work required, unscrewing the tap unit and fit the new tap unit. The trade came and after charging $55 for call our fee, want additional $1200 for a job that takes 30-60 minutes. I had to send him away after paying $55 call our fee. Got another local plumber who fitted the tap for $150.00Be alertful especially letter box drop ads, most of them are rip offs

A representative from Service Experts came to my apartment to look into a problem that I’ve had with my hot water for nearly 4 years now.There have been several attempts by other plumbers to fix the problem but they were unable to improve either my water pressure or water temperature without insisting I spend a fortune on a new unit & plumbing works.The representative arrived on time and was very courteous. He undertook a thorough investigation of my water & gas supply whilst documenting his findings for future reference.He worked very efficiently and explained the situation and what he was doing every step of the way. Within a couple of hours, he had fixed both problems in the most cost effective way. My water temperature & pressure have never been better!Thanks Service Experts for your professional approach and efficient problem solving skills, which resulted in the best outcome that I could have hoped for. I will never contact another plumber again.

I had the following observations on their performance:1 They over serviced by sending two people.2 I was overcharged in terms of time effectively spent on the job.3 As a result of 1 & 2 the hourly rate was excessive.4 Neither tradesperson appeared to have experience with a heat pump HWS nor higher complexity of a recirculating hot water delivery.5 They recommended changing the tempering valves, including one that was les than 12 months old and installed by another of their technicians.6 They recommended upgrading the tempering valves to a higher rated unit without understanding that the valves they were recommending were for situations where the water temperature exceeds 65 deg C, which is not the case with this unit.7 The quote for doing the work as recommended was extremely high.8 They seemed intent on selling "membership" of their in effect maintenance contract.9 I was asked to pay on the spot without an invoice which I refused.10. Messages were sent demanding payment. When I advised I had not received the invoice I was told it was probably in my junk mail (which it was) with the implication that was my fault!11 When I found the invoice I advised I would attend to it and was asked to do it over the phone. I refused and subsequently paid by Bank transfer saving the credit card fees that I would have been charged by doing it over the telephone.We have used this group on three occasions. We had excellent but also expensive service on one occasion by a tradesman who has left them. This and one other have been similar poor experiences and we will not be using them again.
